Hi friends- have some news about the upcoming shows...

.. Max had a freak surfing accident yesterday

morning and unfortunately is undergoing minor surgery this week. Thankfully he's going to be fine but will obviously need some time off to recover.

We're super glad that he'll be ok and back soon, just as handsome as ever.

But, due to the fact that this happened yesterday, we will have to change a few of our shows on this upcoming tour (Tampa, Orlando, Savannah). Orlando will be moved to April 30th, Tampa will be moved to September 18th, and Savannah will be cancelled but we hope to return very soon. For any further questions or refund inquires, please contact your point of purchase. 

Thankfully one of our good friends also plays bass and will be able to join us for the remainder of the dates starting from our Clemson show onward so the rest of the shows will go on. See everyone soon!

Born and raised in SoCal’s surf-rock scene, Sun Room, quickly went from getting the cops called on them for playing too loudly at house shows to performing their music in sold out room across dozens of countries.

After a series of unexpected viral moments, two of their songs were included on the hit Netflix series, OuterBanks, which continued the wave of excitement online. So within just six months of the band forming, SunRoom went on to sell out a run of shows across the US, support Louis Tomlinson's North and South Americantour, and support Inhaler in Europe.

Making their way back to the US in Fall 2022, Sun Room embarked on their first headline tour across NorthAmerica, selling over 13,000 tickets. Getting back on the road in Spring 2023, the band toured the US withInhaler, then went straight into their own headline run, playing across beach towns in Florida and ending atShaky Knees festival.

After returning home to San Diego for the summer, Sun Room finished their latest EP “At Least I Tried” - A 4track EP produced by Zac Carper from FIDLAR, one of the band’s biggest influences growing up in theCalifornia DIY scene. The project was met with great responses from the public, scoring playlist covers acrossDSPs, a highlight from Iggy Pop on BBC 6 and DIY Mag describing them as “a band so unashamedly indebtedto the garage rock’n’roll of decades past...” Watch the music video for the second single, “Cut My Hair” HERE.

“At Least I Tried” dropped as the band kicked off their second headline tour across all of North America,playing in over 30 cities, before finally jetting off to Australia for a headline tour and series of festivals forDecember 2023 - January 2024.

In 2023, Sun Room gained over 500k followers across social media with a steady flow of global listeners thatcontinue to grow as they experiment with their sound, play in new cities, and pull influences from the uniqueexperiences they’ve encountered in just two years of being a band.

With new music on the way, Sun Room is gearing up for another busy year of touring, working with dreamcollaborators, and still finding time to make it back to Southern California to surf with friends.
